Reason
Propose a toast to valor
welcome marauders of reason,
the condescending scholar,
voices of treason.
Three & a half cheers to freedom-
Shameless praises to the red.
Damn you who see them,
and you, who wish they were dead.
Wave our flag high & free.
Black list our leader.
This country is of thee
& you be the bottom feeder.
You watched a documentary.
You earned tour days.
Convinced them this wasn’t meant for me-
Those are your ways.
Spread steadfast cunning & hate-
Chaos is of the mind
Tranquility you debate.
You’re just wasting time.
Drown in your breath.
Seek knowledge in the pitch.
Wear white to your death-
All banging all bark.
You to I, them to we.
Us to that, this you see?
Of course you don’t understand, you refuse to know.
Why pick clarity over a hard way to go?
